Thomas Mancinus (1550 to 1611 or 1612) held musical posts as a singer and director in several cities in northeastern Germany from 1572 to 1581.
Mancinuss Duum vocum cantiuncularum... liber ("Book of nice little songs for two voices") was published in Helmstedt in 1597. It contains ten vocal duets set to Italian texts, followed by thirteen instrumental pieces.
