7 French Chansons by Janequin and Passereau.
Collection.
Arranged by Delius.
Recorder Ensemble.
For: 4Rec.
This collection, based on the original score published in Venice in 1538, gives us insight into the 'chanson' genre which was at its peak at the beginning of the 16th century. In keeping with the custom of that time to perform those pieces originally intended for singing on instruments, too, they were transcribed for the recorder. The registers allow the usual quartet instrumentation S-A-T-B, but alternate options are also possible.
Format: Sheet Music.
Published by Robert Lienau.
Pet:RL40280.
Distributed by Edition Peters.
Usually ships in 1-7 business days depending on stock levels. Contact us for a more specific time estimate.
