This exciting work is a flexible Christmas cantata incorporating several seasonal favorites as well as original material by Donald Moore and Ruth Elaine Schram. A Celebration of Christmas is scored for SATB choir with optional children's choir and congregation. The cantata calls for one, two, or three narrators. Optional brass quartet and flute parts are included in the choral score. At approximately 30 minutes in length, this work fits well into a Sunday morning worship service, and/or the individual movements can be used as anthems throughout the entire Christmas season.
