Sven Birch (pianist/conductor/composer) was born in 1960 in Denmark. He received his musical training in Aarhus, and continued his training in Vienna. He teaches at the Bruckner University in Linz and the University Mozarteum in Salzburg. // "We live in a time of great cultural diversity, and I would like to invite you on a musical journey. This volume compiles easy pieces in a variety of styles: rock, jazz, latin, tango, etc., which are intended as a musical and pedagogical supplement to a classical repertoire. The articulation and dynamics of the piano settings have been elaborated in detail. I would like to give those players who are not as familiar with these styles some help in interpreting them.
