The wordThe first movement, "Alab", is short and rhapsodic, including glissandi and pitch bends for the recorders and a variety of colors and gestures for the double bass. The second movement, "Drive", is very brief and consists almost entirely of quarter-note motion in all instruments...
It is of moderate difficulty because of the special effects in the first movement, although the second movement is quite easy for all.
