Alleluia Fanfare [Alf:00-21064]

Here's a true choral fanfare from Sally Albrecht. It opens with an "Alleluia" section in which the male voices echo the females, as trombones might echo trumpets in a Baroque brass work. This is followed by a contrapuntal "Gloria in excelsis" section, developed like a fugue. A return to the opening fanfare climaxes this strong choral work. Powerful choral writing.
