Based on his sonata in G minor BWV 1029 vor viola da gamba and keyboard. In the first movement, the origional viola da gamba part has been put in the right hand keyboard, while in the other two movements the recorder part is based on the gamba part. Included are 2 versions, in C minor and D minor, leaving it up to the player to choose which works best for them. Movements 2 and 3 could also be played on a string instrument so feel free to adapt if you choose.
