Sacred choral music, in particular, has flourished since the end of the Soviet era, with composers such as Eriks EĊĦenvalds (*1977) and Rihards Dubra (*1964) achieving international recognition. This collection of choral music brings together a number of pieces, including works by EĊĦenvalds and Dubra, and a varied selection of Latvian poetry.
