Originally for two oboes and english horn, here in a version for 3 Cellos. This set of Variations (WoO 28 in C Major) written by Ludwig van Beethoven is based on the Aria "La ci darem la mano" from Mozart's Opera "Don Giovanni". Even though the Cello 1 part is the most virtuoso of the three, every cellist gets a chance to shine throughout this set of Variations.
