Benedictus and Sanctus for SSA with Piano and Djembe is part of the “Missa Brevis for Treble Voices” by Tom Shelton. The composition begins with a unison Benedictus and expands into a 3-part canon, which in turn leads into a rhythmic Sanctus (with djembe and overlapping parts), concluding with a Hosanna which overlaps the return of the opening Benedictus. A wonderful addition to the treble repertoire, suitable for a variety of concert settings.
