Looking for a new opener for your next concert? Celebration Fanfare may be just the one! This Mark Williams original was commissioned for the 1997 Festival of the Arts in Spokane, Washington. This vigorous fanfare opens with a sixteenth-note motif in the Lydian mode that serves as a unifying feature throughout the work. A contrasting Mixolydian middle section gives way to the dramatic flourish of color that concludes the work.
