Christmas Carols [CF:ZM33540]

This issue offers a variety of the most popular Christmas carols both in traditional movements which were rearranged and in new ones, written by the editor for 4 violoncelli. A choir-like performance by a large ensemble is also possible. The arrangements are a result of working with the ensemble "Dr. Hoch’s Philharmonische Cellisten" of which the editor is in charge. The movements are very easy and with only a few exceptions they can be played in the 1st position. The songs are less suited for singing along since they are usually notated in a low register. According to the author, it is recommended to enjoy the "pure" cello sound.
