Carl Reinecki (1824-1910) wrote the Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, Op. 283 in 1908. It was dedicated to the flautist Maximilian Schwedler, who premiered the work on March 15, 1909 in Leipzig. The composer himself arranged this version for flute and piano.
