Concerto G major [CF:ZM32980]

It is assumed Giuseppe Torti was born in Milan and lived during the 18th century. In this case, 'Concerto' is a rather misleading term as the piece really is a quartet. The interesting composition uses the concept of a concerto in Vivaldi's tradition: chamber music with solo part. The first flute takes over the lead. The piece consists of three movements and is well-suited both for music instruction and concert events.
