Dance of the Imps is a showcase of what is possible with pizzicato. Written by Nathan Jacklin, the work's quick melodic lines are supported by energetic, syncopated rhythms, making the music dance for everyone. The ever-changing dynamics and call-and-response sections provide interest for the players and audience.
