De Profundis (A Choral Prelude) [HL:8764840]

This piano prelude was played at the funeral of Frederic Chopin. Here composers Green and Crescenz take the well known words from Psalm 130 and provide an amazing expression of “from the depths I have cried out to you, O Lord. Lord hear my voice.” The work is scored for piano and optional string quartet and SATB chorus with mezzo soprano and bass descant. Difficulty Level: Medium Adult.
