Ek ken die nag by Dan­el Bjarnason is an 8-minute work for Chorus and Reed Quintet based on the poem Ek ken die nag by Dutch-South African poet Elisabeth Eybers. The work was co-commissioned by the Calefax Reed Quintet, the Netherlands Chamber Choir and the Eduard van Beinum Foundation. It was first performed by the co-commissioners on 15 March 2014 at De Doelen, Rotterdam. Full score, available for sale as part of the Peters Contemporary Library.
