The 18 etudes in this volume represent a selection from the original 40 etudes in 2 volumes, published by Editions Billaudot. Criteria for selection were purely music-based. The pieces may be performed as solo etudes or as duets, in which case the teacher would accompany the student and focus on intonation and musicality.
