Ewazen ended his tenure as Composer-in-Residence with Saint Luke's Chamber Ensemble (NY) with his Concerto for Violin, premiered by that ensemble with violinist Krista Feeney as soloist. A subsequent recording by the International Sejong Soloists had rave reviews, including, "it was like a long, slow drink of cool, clear spring water to a parched throat."
