Grand Trio with Fugue in F Major Op.118.
Fürstenau, Anton Bernhard.
Edited by W. Richter.
Flute Ensemble.
For: 3Fl.
If only for their intended use as chamber music, Fürstenau's flute trios (op.14, 22, 66 and 118) can by no means be labeled pieces of hollow virtuosity. In particular, the integration of fugues shows that Furstenau genuinely strived to write works of serious musical substance. The Grand Trio (with fugue) presented here was composed around 1840. This edition is based on the first edition published by Bote and Bock (1840).
Format: Sheet Music.
Published by Zimmermann.
