Kalmar Rising [Alf:98-EP73377]

Judith Bingham's Kalmar Rising is a 16-minute work for solo organ. The piece features an optional part for handbell in B flat to be struck by a rubber hammer and also the option of a small group of sopranos singing the plainsong. Kalmar Rising was commissioned by Jan H Bĥrjesson, and first performed by him on the organ of Kalmar Cathedral, Sweden, in May 2019.
