Klezmer Suite. By: Ciesla. Saxophone Choir. Instrumentation: Soprano, 3 Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxes with Bass and Tambourine.

This three-movement suite for large saxophone ensemble features two traditional klezmer themes, Itamar Freilach and Hershel, and an original composition, Doumka's Freilach. Drum set (playing ad lib) and bass can be added to enhance the overall effect; if the work is played without a drummer, one of the saxophonists can play the tambourine part in Itamar Freilach.
