This simple yet hauntingly beautiful recorder orchestra piece is an arrangement in the Japanese "standard." The lyrics were written by the highly esteemed poet, Bansui Doi. Kojo No Tsuki was a contest winner in the early 1900's and was origionaly published by what is now the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. This is a lovely, sensative piece for the intermediate recorder player.
