This piece is a delightful four movement work that combines very "English" sounding melodies and harmonies within a framework of buoyant, baroque-style dance movements. This unusual late 19th century work for string orchestra is arranged for 3 C flutes, one alto flute & one bass flute part, accommodating an ensemble of five to eleven flutists, and all movements are PERFECT for weddings!
