Like Spring Scherzo [HL:48023065]

Written for SATB divisi choir, this musical pantomime is a playful piece of sound theatre. The text consists of onomatopoeic interjections denoting various nuances of laughter. There are two short movements performed attacca, the first is rhythmically organized exchange, set in floating pitch range; the second is a vocal score of instrumental character with dance elements.
