John Harbison blends his musical voice with the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop to form a work which gives the impression of a poet/composer collaboration rather than just a setting of text to music. Harbison has also set the work with a chamber ensemble accompaniment, which is available from the G. Schirmer Rental Library.
