As a composer, Henry Fillmore (1881-1956), was one of the greatest practitioners of the American style march. Written for the 1952 Orange Bowl game between the North and South College Football All Stars, this march has all the elements of the mature Fillmore style: energy, brilliance and abundant, memorable tunes. Robert Foster's new concert edition will liven up any program and would also make a great encore.
