These dances come from a "Muziek Boexken" by Tilman Susato, a music player of Cologne, who in 1543 founded a printing works that became very important in that time. These can be played by lots of instruments, but heres a few good pics. Recorder quartet, (except 7, a second alto cam be used in place of a tenor,) string quartet, and recorder and strings, (SA,violin, viola, or violoncello.) 8 Pgs.
