Contents: Pieces 1 and 2 are duet versions of Oxford Waits-A mid 18th century cebell or English gavotte, pieces 3 and 4 are versions of Past three, fair frosty morn, good morrow, my masters all, which York Waits performed from a duet version by Mr. Durden circa 1700 in the first version, And The Waits Performers of London performed in the second trio version by Playford in 1657. The 5th piece is an anonimous quartet composition entitled 'The Moon Shines Bright', also described as the Waits or Bellmans Carol. Single score with fascinating introduction and lyrics.
