PERPETUAL MOTION is a flashy, encore-type piece composed as a violin solo by Carl Bĥhm, who lived in the 19th and 20th centuries. This arrangement features the entire first violin section on the melody with light accompaniment by the rest of the string orchestra. For a very small orchestra or chamber ensemble it could be used as a solo piece for the concertmaster.
