Piano Quintet, Op. 57 [HL:50606569]

Shostakovich composed his Quintet for piano and strings in G minor, op.57 in 1940 at the request of the Beethoven Quartet, who premiered it in November 1940 at the Moscow Conservatory with the composer at the piano.
