This play and practice book is mainly intended for group instruction with pupils aged 8-13 approx. who cannot read music. It offers a lot of ideas for flute instruction lessons: material for playing, improvising, creating and not least the funny pictures by Kerstin Tieste make flute lessons delightful. Memory aids to be cut out, card games, a fingering chart, lots of photos and an extensive teacher commentary round off the offer. In the end, the pupils know the notes from c' to d''. On the CD you will find the piano accompaniments as well as the duos, trios and quartets. One part each can be faded out and be played by the flutist instead. Mistakes have been corrected, the CD was re-recorded in studio quality and the piano part is enclosed on a separate sheet. A book calling for using the flute in a creative way.
