The second movement evokes the beauty of the state flower, the wild rose, through the lyrical and charming Wild Rose Waltz. The third movement, River Rhapsody, is an energetic tribute in 7/4 meter to the major rivers that form the boundaries and run through the state of Iowa. 12 pages.
