Volume 6 of Berben's beautifully-produced series The Presti-Lagoya Collection contains the original compositions of Ida Presti, as performed extensively by the duo. The pieces were meticulously prepared by the excellent French guitarist Olivier Chassain for his own recording, at about the time that the Collection was beginning production, and the editors correctly chose to incorporate Chassain's painstaking work into the series. With few exceptions, most of these Presti compositions appear for the first time. For advanced performers.
