Siegfried Fink's composition was inspired by Adolf Luther's spherical hollow mirror objects in the Mönchhaus Museum for Modern Art in Goslar. In his preface, he writes: "The concave and convex surfaces of the mirrors present the beholder with constantly changing images as his/her position changes, giving rise to a 'visual dialogue'. The melodic, rhythmic and sound patterns are intended to convey the interplay of mirror images.
Instrumentation: bass drum, 2 congas, snare drum, 2 bongos, 4 temple blocks, cymbal and cowbell.
