Wolfgang Rihm (b.1952) has written more then 400 compositions in all areas, and has developed a keen interest in architecture, painting, philosophy, and more, all of which are used as inspiration for his many works. This leading light in the European music scene began composing early in life, and UE here presents a Pater noster, composed when he was a lad of 16. An excellent glimpse into the musical growth of a master.
