Romance in D-flat, Op. 37 [Alf:36-A195701]

ROMANCE IN D-FLAT MAJOR, Op. 37 is an 1871 work for flute and piano or orchestra by Camille Saint-SaĞns (1835-1921). Written shortly prior to the composer's flight to London due to the political turbulence in Paris following the Armistice of Versailles, the piece was dedicated to flutist Amİdİe de Vroye. The dedicatee gave the first chamber performance that year in Baden-Baden, Germany with Saint-SaĞns at the piano.
