Dedication Fanfare [CF:145-40008]

Commissioned by the New Music Circle, St. Louise, Missouri, for the dedication of the Gateway Arch, "Dedication Fanfare" reflects the upward thrust and soaring lines of that striking piece of architecture. It proclaims the spiritual challenge and conquest represented by the arch. The constant rising surge of the music, the driving timpani part, the declamatory brasses, all propel the work to a mighty conclusion.
