Dedicated to Maurice André, this piece is difficult and requires the skills of an advanced Trumpet player. This work sounds really nice and would work very well for a recital. It is divided in three main movements, the third one being a repetition of the main theme (first movement). Henri Tomasi also composed a variety of concerti for Alto Saxophone and for Trombone, as well as some ballades.”
