Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) composed the seven-movement SERENADE in B-flat, K. 361/370a (also titled SERENADE No. 10, subtitled GRAN PARTITA) between 1781 and 1782. Serenades at the time were written as "dinner music," so the music is generally light-hearted. The subtitle "Gran Partita" was added by an unknown party after Mozart's death.
