There is considerably controversy surrounding Mozart's Concertante K.297b for four wind instruments. Some scholars believe the original was composed for flute, oboe, bassoon and horn but the original is lost and a score discovered in 1870 uses the clarinet instead of flute and it is this (clarinet) version most widely heard today and which is presented here.
Sinfonia concertante for Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon and Orchestra in E-flat major K. Anh. I,9 (297b) [Bar:BA5770]
