Song and Dance [Alf:36-20412105]

Edvard Grieg is Norway's most revered composer. "The Song of the Watchman" is lyrical in style in contrast to the marcato-staccato style of "The Sailors' Song" which follows. Rhythms are not difficult but are independent, and articulations are well marked. Both pieces are quite short.  This is quality music by a quality composer offering an excellent ensemble experience.
