String Quartet No. 3 (Autumnal) by Alec Roth is a contemporary string quartet in four movements. It was commissioned by James Woods for his 70th birthday and incorporates the song that Alec Roth composed as a present for the 70th birthday of James' wife in 2010. The quartet was first performed on 4 June 2013 by the Allegri String Quartet at St Thomas' Church, Salisbury, as part of the Salisbury International Arts Festival.
