A majestic thanksgiving medley that features an optional patriotic verse! Familiar hymn tunes are paired with unique texts for harvest or thanksgiving. Hymn tunes include Aurelia (commonly sung as The Church's One Foundation), Materna (America the Beautiful) and Lancashire (The Day of Resurrection). The result is a refreshingly different and majestic hymn concertato. Narration (opt.) provides dramatic inspiration. Trumpet obbligato and congregational singing (opt.) are included. Parts for brass and timpani and a full performance/accompaniment CD are available separately.
