Taste by Rebecca Saunders and Enno Poppe is a 20-minute joint composition for violin and piano. The two original pieces are 'Schmalz' for violin solo by Enno Poppe, for which Rebecca Saunders wrote a piano part, and 'Shadow' for piano solo, for which Enno Poppe composed a violin part. As a result, the two original pieces have been transformed into a completely new work, which has removed the boundary between the two works.
