The Firebird Suite 1919 (L'Oiseau de Feu) [Alf:36-A213102]

This 1919 concert suite is one of three excerpts arranged from the complete Firebird ballet by the composer, and remains the most well-known. While the 1911 suite retained the original orchestration, the 1919 and 1945 suites were scored for smaller orchestras. This suite was created in Switzerland for conductor Ernest Ansermet.
