Using the tune "Wedlock" from "Southern Harmony" and a new text from the poet Charlotte Lee, Douglas Wagner has created a haunting anthem for the Easter season. The text takes our Lord from the Judgment Hall to His death on Calvary. From birth to death, He was put on earth to redeem us from our sins, to open for us "The Gates of Paradise". An optional handbell part (7 bells) is included in the score.
