The main concept behind this piece is the juxtaposition of two triads, the G major triad contining B natural, and the B flat major triad containing none other than B flat. The pieces weave to and fro, the first being lively and pointed, second is measured and consistent, third is nervous and erratic, and fourth is sprightly and carefree.
