Commissioned by Pacific Chorale, this six-minute “choral fanfare” was composed to celebrate the return to large-scale musical concerts following the global pandemic of 2020/21. Opening and closing in hushed tones and with a rhythmic intensity throughout, the music reflects the urgency of poet Marcus Omari's specially-written text.
