Anthem for SATB Choir (with divisi) and Organ (words by William Blake and Thomas Ken) 'This anthem was commissioned by Bromley Parish Church, to accompany the Missa Brevis 'Awake My Soul' (EP 7982). If the anthem is performed with the Missa Brievis it should be placed after Lamb of God. The Missa Brevis and the anthem use material from the hymn 'Awake my soul, and with the sun, thy daily stage of duty run'. (Judith Bingham).
Commissioned by Bromley Parish Church to to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the of the consecration of the new Church; the original building having been destroyed by bombing in April 1941.
